Jane Kurtz has enjoyed working with pregnant and new mothers and babies since 1987. Being a Registered Nurse and a Registered Dietitian, she has worked with both the medical and nutritional aspects of obstetrics. With years of experience in nutrition and breastfeeding counseling, she understands the need for support during this wonderful and important time of life. Before joining The New Born Baby, Jane worked with a group of obstetricians in Syracuse, NY where she became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2008, was a Lactation Educator, helped dozens of mothers and babies learn to breastfeed with confidence, and founded 'La Petite Botique', a shop for nursing mothers.
Jane fell in love with breastfeeding with her own two breastfed children (now grown). Now she shares her expertice helping new moms discover the joy and satisfaction of breastfeeding.
