Breastmilk Kills Cancer Cells

If you could give your baby a supplement that kills cancer cells, would you do it? Who wouldn't? And yet many people don't know that breastmilk actually kills cancer cells: 40 different ones. Every parent, mother and father, need to hear this and hear it throughout their pregnancy. Could there be any single reason to breastfeed that is more crucial than this? Not in my book.

breastmilk kills cancer cells

I know we have this huge problem of women wanting to breastfeed and not getting the proper support: of breastfeeding efforts being sabotaged during the first 48 hours. Could it be that the many of the key players in the first 48 hours of a baby's life are clueless about the truth of breastmilk?

Ask every doctor and nurse you know if they are aware of this active ingredient in breastmilk. Chances are they don't know about this. Why not? Who is responsible for educating the community about the truth of breastmilk?

HAMLET, an acronym for Human Alpha-lactalbumin Made Lethal to Tumor cells, has the ability to kill 40 different types of cancer cells. Human alpha-lactalbumin is a key ingredient in breastmilk. I'd rather give my baby an ounce a day than none at all, if I'm unable to give 100% breastmilk. I'd prefer to do everything possible to give 100%, as even one drop of formula changes the baby's gut and can decrease the effectiveness of breastmilk. My previous blog on this explains a bit more about HAMLET.

Give your baby as much breastmilk as you can

for as long as you can.

Did you know this about breastmilk? You can be the breastfeeding educator for your community. Spread the good news about breastmilk. Speak the truth. It may mean the difference between life and death for some babies.

My baby had cancer, she was breastfed through her entire chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant ... I have no doub breastmilk gave her an edge, but also pretty sure the chemotherapy killed the cancer....
