We offer our services as a package or as single visits, however a package gives you the following:
- Three visits, each 1.5 - 2 hours
- Phone and email follow-up as needed with a package; only one follow-up phone call or e-mail with a single visit.
- We follow you until you have confidence that breastfeeding is going well for you and your baby.
- Time to answer all your questions
- More bang for your buck!

Debbie, Dianna and Jane are dedicated to providing the best possible care and service to you, including your complete understanding of our office policy regarding payment and insurance reimbursement. Harvard Pilgrim pays in full for lactation consultations; Tufts pays $75 per visit for three visits; all other insurance companies in Massachusetts do not consider breastfeeding an important health issue and do not typically pay.
Length of time required for the consultation varies according to your baby's age, the time it takes for your baby to feed and the complexity of the problem.
